Bachelor of Education, University Transfer
Inspire the Next Generation
Develop a plan for your future as a teacher. Inspire the next generation and equip them with the knowledge for success. With several combined degree options, you can start your Bachelor of Education (BEd) degree with us. We offer transfer programs in collaboration with our partner universities in Alberta, allowing you to complete the first years of your degree at our campus, then apply to the University of Alberta on the University of Lethbridge to complete your degree.
The University of Alberta Bachelor of Education program requires students to select either the Elementary Route (Kindergarten to Grade 6) or the Secondary Route (Grade 7 to Grade 12). Students who choose the Elementary Route can complete the University of Alberta Bachelor of Education degree on-site at Northwestern Polytechnic through the Teacher Education North (TEN) program.
Students wishing to pursue a combined degree can apply up to one year of NWP credit to the Combined BEd programs at the University of Lethbridge.
