GPRC Wolves Women's Basketball New Recruit, Bryann Testawitch.
Recruitment season has kicked off for the 2021-22 GPRC Wolves Women’s Basketball team. GPRC is pleased to welcome new athletes into inclusive post-secondary sports through the 5GPRC priority of delivering a unique student experience for every wolf-pack member. Head Coach, Bill Bradley is excited to continue to announce new additions to his roster.
Meet Bryann Testawitch.
Hailing from Grande Prairie, Alberta, Testawitch is looking forward to making her childhood dream of representing the Wolves come true. “When I was little I would go to Wolves camps and watch my cousins play there for tournaments and such,” said Testawitch. “I would see the College players and my cousin played for the College for a bit. So since I was about 11 or 12 years old, I knew I wanted to play for the Wolves.”
Testawitch played for the Charles Spencer Mavericks Senior Girls Basketball team, and achieved the Most Improved Player award during her 2018-2019 season. In 2019, Testawitch also played U17 Girls Nationals Club Team.
In her upcoming rookie season, Testawitch is excited to get back onto the court and continue to build lifelong friendships. “The team is so cool, I already feel so welcomed but I think being on the court again and playing with such a rad group of women is going to be out of this world.”
Head Coach, Bill Bradley is pleased to add Testawitch to his roster. “Bryann’s commitment to GPRC addresses one of our short comings in the last season, specifically height. We needed to get taller at some positions, but also bring in the right athletes for our program. Bryann is a great example of the kind of character we want in our locker room, and it helps that she’s 6 foot one.”
Welcome to the pack, Bryann.
